A creative journey into the heart of arts and crafts Treat your children to a fun, hands-on experience with our introductory basketry workshop. This summer, the Conservatoire des Métiers d’Autrefois invites young creators to discover the ancestral techniques of traditional weavers. In just 30 minutes, this practical and accessible workshop offers an introduction to wicker weaving, allowing children to craft a small, poetic, durable, and 100% natural object. A moment of sharing and craftsmanship for the whole family Much more than a simple arts and crafts activity, this children's workshop provides a peaceful interlude of calm and focus. It is the perfect activity to share with family or friends to disconnect and celebrate the beauty of handmade items. What's more, each participant leaves with their very own wicker creation a unique remember of their summer holidays. Accessible and quick : A format perfectly tailored to children (30-minute duration). Fun & Educational : Learning a traditional skill while developing fine motor skills.
