Description
In November, the city and the department live to the rhythm of literature!
Over the course of two weeks, the *Lettres d’automne* literary festival offers a unique array of events: meetings with authors and artists, staged readings, performances, concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, a festival bookshop, and more.
With guests of honor Justine Augier and Christophe Boltanski, the 36th edition of *Lettres d’automne* sets out to explore one of the most inventive realms of contemporary literary creation: the hybrid genre known in the English-speaking world as "creative non-fiction"—a space where the novel, documentary, autobiographical inquiry, reportage, and poetry intersect. It is a form of literature that examines the dizzying experience of grappling with reality.
Featuring a lineup of nearly 80 guests and open to audiences of all ages—including the youngest—the program can be enjoyed at the Espace des Augustins and at various venues across Montauban and the Tarn-et-Garonne region.
