Description
Odesza is a trio from Toulouse born of the friendship between musicians from diverse musical backgrounds. They create a hybrid sound that sits at the crossroads of electro/house, jazz, and rock.
The year 2025 marked an emotionally charged period for the band on the Toulouse music scene. It was here that they solidified their Nu Jazz aesthetic. After performing at "Le Taquin" and the Albi Jazz Festival, the trio established their innovative style in the region by winning the "Jazz en Comminges" showcase competition. In July 2025, Odeza performed at the "Pause Guitare" festival—a concert that validated their sound and introduced them to an entirely new audience.
In September 2025, Odeza was named the winner of the "Jazz 70" showcase competition. Their dream of performing in a major venue came true when the band was selected for the "Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges" in the Nu Jazz category; this selection caught the attention of Le Bolegason, which invited the trio to open for Photons in June 2026.
